Early Saturday Baking

Quiche with Green Market Baby Potatoes, Caramelized Sweet Onion, Dorset cheese bordering  Green and Purple Mizuna

My intentions change so swiftly when I get to the Union Square Green Market that I am quickly giving up going with any menu ideas.  Originally, the mizuna was going to be the foundation to a Shaved Truffle Poached Egg Salad.  It's not warm enough, quite yet, in Queens to forgo the oven.  So I woke up early today baked a pie crust, made a quiche and let the greens hang out naked.
